Round 3: Shiloh

Round 3: Shiloh (S1)

We pick up where we left off with the Shiloh clan, Iris-Sun is nearly ready to give birth to her third child while still devoting as much attention to Baby Emerald-Rain as she possibly can.

Though it's officially winter, the relentless heat and working in the fields continues takes a toll on both River and Iris-Sun causing sunburns and exhaustion. Poor Iris-Sun had a close call and almost miscarried her unborn child. After the incident, River made sure she got more rest to ensure the safety of both mother and child.

Before long, the time came for Pyralis to outgrow his crib becoming a child while Emerald-Rain would go on to explore the world around her as a toddler.

River would often become angry remembering the night his family's home was invaded by the strange skunk colored wearing man and in return wished upon his death.

Now that Pyralis was a child, it was time he learned the ways of tending to the crops when his parents were unable.

Dinner time was always everyone's favorite time of the day!

Those all to familiar pains finally came to Iris-Sun one cool winter night and Baby Liam made his way into the world. River and Iris-Sun were thrilled to have yet another son to carry on their family name.

Things appeared to be improving for the Shiloh clan when unexpectedly the family experienced an insect infestation on their land. River was determined to get rid of all the deathly insects before they could bring sickness into his home.

Unfortunately, the sickness got to River after he successfully got rid of the deadly insects. He was sure to seclude himself from the family before it could spread and after a good night's rest the sickness was no more.

You honestly wouldn't think it was winter because poor River could not escape from overheating in the unbearable sun! It literally did not snow until the last day of winter.

It didn't matter if they hunted for bugs or went on hiking trips, the Shiloh men were always jinxed with being chased by bees. Such luck!

Liam and Emerald-Rain both aged up before the season ended and Emerald-Rain's first action as a child was searching for trinkets on the shore which funny enough led to her being bit by a crab! LOL!

END OF ROUND 3: FAMILY FUNDS-$2,063

Author's Notes: You can really count on the Shiloh family to liven up the challenge! I have to say out of all my families, they seem to be the unluckiest for sure. If it can go wrong, it will go wrong for them. I'm not sure how true this is or if it's even apart of the game, but I truly feel like their pale skin coloring could be a factor of why they are so prone to sunburns and heat-strokes while say the Nantego and Lakota families spend just as much time outdoors but they aren't affected as much. Hmm what do you all think?

Another thing, after River killed all the bugs, he started coughing but I never did get a notification stating that he was sick. I got worried that he was indeed sick with the flu so I just sent him straight to bed alone so he'd feel better but again nothing ever showed up? IDK LOL!

I blanked on taking pictures but I managed to get all the newly aged children ( Onyx, Titan, Neptune, Akecheta, Anaya) over to the Shiloh lot so Pyralis could meet and get to know the other kids since I'm not allowing any kids to attend school until the Roman Era. There were no 'schools' back then so I'm just omitting that part out for now. In my head, he is matched with Anaya Moon so I wanted them to meet and get friendly with one another to see how their personalities meshed. So far so good, he seemed to get along with pretty much all the kids which made me happy. Ok, I think that's enough for now, thanks for reading this far!
